Trade Rug Program for Interior Designers & Projects
Melody Carpet supports interior designers, architects, hospitality teams and project buyers with curated rug sourcing, specification guidance and project coordination from Dubai.
Start with your room, floor plan and design direction. We will help you narrow the choice to suitable ready-made rugs or guide you to the custom-rug route when the project requires a specific size, colour, design or material.

A Clear Route from Brief to Rug Selection
1. Share the project brief
Send the room type, location, measurements, floor plan, furniture layout, colour references, preferred style, intended use and required quantity. The more complete the brief, the more focused the first selection can be.
2. Choose the right sourcing route
We review whether the project is best served by a curated ready-made option, a coordinated selection across several rooms, or a custom rug enquiry. This keeps the process focused and avoids presenting unrelated products.
3. Review design, scale and specification
Shortlisted options are considered in relation to the furniture plan, colour palette, construction, material and practical use of the space. Where relevant, dimensions can be checked against our Rug Size Guide.
4. Confirm the selected direction
Once the preferred rug or project route is agreed, the applicable product details, availability, quantities and next steps are confirmed directly with the Melody Carpet team.
Choose the Route That Fits Your Project
Curated ready-made rugs
For projects requiring existing designs, explore selected options across Classic Carpets, Modern & Contemporary Carpets, Machine-Made Persian Silk Rugs and Persian Handmade & Handmade Silk Rugs.
Custom rug requirements
If a standard rug does not resolve the project’s scale or design direction, continue to the dedicated Custom Rugs page. That page explains the available review process for design, size, shape, colour and material without repeating the full information here.
Multi-room and project enquiries
Designers may submit one coordinated brief for several rooms or project areas. Include a room schedule or clearly labelled floor plans so each requirement can be reviewed separately while maintaining a consistent design direction.
What to Include in Your First Message
- Project type and location
- Room measurements or floor plan
- Furniture layout and intended rug placement
- Preferred style, colours and reference images
- Required quantity and target sizes
- Any relevant material, construction or usage requirements
If the exact dimensions are not final, use the Rug Size Guide as a starting point. Care and maintenance considerations for different categories are covered separately in the Rug Care Guide.
