A few helpful answers

What size rug works best in a living room?

A 200 × 300 cm rug is a useful starting point for a medium seating group. Check that it reaches beneath the front legs of the sofa and chairs; larger arrangements may need 300 × 400 cm or more.

How much rug should extend beyond a dining table?

Allow approximately 60–70 cm on each side as a starting point. Pull the chairs back as you would when sitting down, and check that their legs remain on the rug.

Does a bedroom rug need to cover the entire bed?

No. A rug can sit beneath the lower part of the bed, provided it gives comfortable coverage on both sides and beyond the foot. Check your bed frame and room proportions.

What if I am between two rug sizes?

Mark both outlines on the floor and compare furniture placement and walking space. If neither works, explore our custom rug options.
